1982—2009

We said goodbye to our beloved foundation stallion AA Manattan in 2009 after 26 years together.

“Manly” had the PERFECT temperament for a stallion. Whether sandwiched between strange horses with hounds running around his legs on a fox hunt, or patiently teaching a scared 6 year old riding student to sit a canter, his sweetness shone through.

Manly, a multi champion, showed in halter, western pleasure, hunter pleasure and show hack. He could passage and was schooling Intermediaire I in dressage his last year. He jumped 4 ¹⁄₂ foot fences for hugs.

He gave our mares gorgeous eyes, snaky necks, beautiful movement and the best of temperaments.

Manly sired National winners in Sport Horse in hand, Sport Horse under saddle, Dressage and Carriage Driving. He has been a leading sire of regional halter champions.
